-A Gift from Pretty Spooky: Free, Instant, Printable Creepmas Cards
When you want to put a spooky spin on the holiday season, but there just aren’t many suitable ghoulish greeting card options, and not enough time to make them from scratch, you can count on Pretty Spooky to put just the right amount of eerie in your envelopes!

At first glance, these cards are pretty holiday cards, with delicate snowflakes, and a frilly, festive verse. But, a second look reveals that each snowflake has a spooky hidden picture, and the verse is a fiendish variation of Frank Sinatra’s classic, “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”. Some will see snowflakes, others will see ravens, skulls, skeletons, owls, bats, serpents, and toads. Their deceptive nature makes them even more devilishly endearing!

The balance of creepy and cute causes these seasonal senders to be copacetic for those who are fans of the frightening, as well as those who are less likely to meander toward the macabre. And, they are yours to send in just three steps.
All it takes is a box of blank, white A2 cards (4.5 inches by 5.5 inches) that can be found in just about any craft aisle of your basic, big box store, a printer, and only a few minutes.

Just open the first picture, below, load your printer with the number of cards you need, paying special attention to your printer’s directions for how to face the cards, and print the outside (front and back) of the cards. Be sure to select the highest-quality setting that your printer has to offer for the clearest results.

Next, open the second picture, below, load your printer with the partially printed cards, checking to make sure that the cards are positioned correctly, and print the insides.

Then, open the third picture, below, and position the matching envelopes in your printer, oriented to print the flap side.

You can always pen the addresses yourself. But, at this point, it would be easy to save a little time by printing addresses. Just flip the envelopes in your printer, and use your computer’s envelope template. If you have a Mac, and want to match the card fonts, try Zapfino in dark red, for the names, and Bodoni 72 Smallcaps in dark green, for the addresses, like this:

There’s a perfect spot to add a personalized, handwritten note on the left, inside of the card. A silver, glitter, gel-pen shows up nicely to sign the bottom, right, inside of the card.

For a little extra sparkle, I added a couple hole punches, and wove-in a silver, wired ribbon, which was perfect to hold my Pretty Spooky business cards, or gift cards, snugly on the back.

So, from the Pretty Spooky lair, to your home, we hope that you…
